Debbie was a great person and I have a lot of fond memories of her in Junior HS as well as HS.Debbie and I kept in touch after I moved to Superior in 1970. In 1972,we both were pregnant at the same time. It was her first baby and my 2nd baby, (Jonathan).We really enjoyed talking about our pregnancies, and the fact that we were due at the same time. She had her baby girl first, early, then she passed away I think less than a week later. Her passing was so painful, I grieved her death, as I know we all did. I wanted to attend her funeral on Oct 8th 1972, but my doctor would not let me go out of town. That night, Jonathan was born. I still think about her often and wish I knew how her daughter is doing.
I remember Debbie as being polite and talkative once she got going. At times we sat together in the cafeteria and talked of events of the day. She was nice and polite and would take time out to talk with you. I am so glad she had a great pregnancy, but, she was too young to go. God has his plans and we don't always know what they may be. I was sad you left us but I will see you someday when my time comes.
